Do you ever look back at a moment in your life? A moment that led to something special - only you had no inkling you were making (personal) history?
There are many jars of skin cream to be had from this garden
My garden is my refuge. I grow lots of things in there. Someone I barely know, a landscape architect, stopped by. Through the "fence" she peered into the section of garden most visible from where she stood in our driveway. "There sure is a lot going on there 😳👉."
There was a lot going on. It's true. I still hear her voice in my head, with regularity. I've resolved a lot in that section, this year 😂
Still, there is a lot happening in my garden. I'm not a minimalist.
I don't have well cut edges.
The pathways get overgrown (generous proportions need somewhere to lay down, after all).
I purposefully leave a selection of weeds to do their thing.
I love flowers at all stages.
I don't have time to tackle every job.
I know she thought there was Too Much going on. Not her design-cup-of-tea. But it's all there for a reason!
I swear it is!
Even if I don't yet know why.
There are many, many, many cups of tea to be had from this garden.
-And jars of skin cream!
Age gracefully - defy gravity with the magic of nature
I've got a new skin cream on the go. At this stage in my own "development", I'm pretty excited to use this cream. Thanks to the line of products I've developed, I've got the doings of my face pretty much under control. Botanicals never cease to amaze me. I know how to pick them at their prime & how to put them together, and that's important. Absolutely!
Yet, in the end, it's the botanicals in my creams working the magic ✨
At this stage, my chin needs some magic. I know the creases above your upper lip do. And you - you've told me you need to improve your neck.
🔮
I consulted my intuition.
I traveled through my memories.
I looked into research.
I asked the fairies 🧚🏻
🔮
Plants support your skin's ability to produce collagen
For the BEST botanicals for this new endeavour. What am I looking to do with this cream? I plan to support your skin's ability to produce more collagen. I intend to put a stop to the collagenase you're busily creating, more and more of it, as you get older in years.
What's collagenase? Collagenase is something you produce that stops your body from creating collagen.
Take a deep breath. Sometimes the awe I feel for our bodies is the breathtaking bewilderment of 🧛🏼♀️ black magic.
I'm breathing easy in the face of this nastiness 😅
And it's thanks to intuition, memories, research, and fairies ✨
And most of all, thanks to the power and abundance of my garden.
I look back to garden planting moments. There are seeds I've tenderly germinated, plants I've almost gotten rid of but saved them at the last minute, searching for a little unused space (because I wanted them, but they served no "purpose"), herbs I've grown because they belong in every kitchen or because I like the sight of "groundcover" between the cracks in my pathways.
These unassuming planting moments are now recipients of my sincere gratitude. I'm giving thanks. I found I was already growing every single botanical ingredient I want for my new Neck, Chin & Mouth Cream. A cream that will lend extra grace to aging gracefully.
I'm really excited!
Keep tuned. These botanicals are currently doing their thing, generously sharing all their:
collagen-enhancing,
wrinkle-defying,
hydration-supporting,
youthful-skin-cell-replenishing powers
that will go into your newest skin cream.

Ready to share 🎉 this autumn 🍂
I'll keep you posted!
